Privacy, in plain words
Our tools run in your browser. What you make stays on your device. We only receive what you choose to send us in a form.
What stays on your device
- Pet Stars: your pet’s details, photo, card and video are made in your browser and never uploaded. Your character picture is saved in this browser (so Story Studio can reuse it) until you clear your browser data. Photo-to-character generation with an outside AI service is not active on this site; if we add it, it will only run when you explicitly choose it, and this page will say exactly what is sent.
- Story Studio: projects autosave in your browser only. Video files are read on your device; only a fingerprint of each file goes into a project file you save yourself.
- Classroom: lessons and student stories are made in the browser. A class link carries only the teacher’s prompt and grade band. Student drafts clear when the tab closes.
What we receive
- Beta signup: your email, the role you pick and the tools you’re interested in. Used only to email you about Anchor Studio. Unsubscribe any time by replying or writing to us.
- Feedback and quick ratings: only the words and rating you send. Ratings are anonymous unless you add your email.
- Service briefs and creator inquiries: name, email, portfolio or company details, and project information you choose to submit. We use this information to respond and evaluate possible collaboration.
- Checkout: payment handling may be provided by Stripe when checkout is enabled. We do not ask for card numbers through our website forms; please review Stripe’s privacy disclosures when purchasing.
- Partner inquiries: what you write in the contact form on our homepage.
Forms are processed by our host, Netlify. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
What our host and fonts see
Like any website, our host Netlify receives standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and protect the site. Fonts load from Google Fonts. We do not use advertising cookies. The site may use Google Analytics measurement and related cookies; privacy and consent controls are being reviewed. Browser privacy controls can restrict these technologies.
Children and schools
Classroom collects no student information, and students never see signup or feedback forms. The beta signup is for adults 18 and older. Teachers should use the AI video apps their school allows.
Milo’s Adventures showcases
If you share your pet star and tag us, we will only feature your pet in a Milo’s Adventures story with your written permission.
